British-Nigerian artist Yinka Shonibare CBE will present one of his new Wind Sculptures works, part of a new series of important large-scale works that mark a new departure for Shonibare by working in fiber glass and steel. Using these materials, Shonibare investigates the shifting movement of wind passing through fabric. At six meters high, the Wind Sculptures have a majestic presence, with brightly coloured, painted surfaces to replicate the patterns of Dutch wax batik fabrics.

We're pleased to announce that the British-Nigerian artist Yinka Shonibare CBE has been elected as a Royal Academician at Royal Academy of Arts, London.

Yinka Shonibare CBE's solo exhibition 'FABRIC-ATION', on show at Yorshire Sculpture Park, is touring to GL STRAND in Copenhagen, Denmark.
